Dr. Monica R. Lee

obgyn leesburg Dr. Monica R. Lee was born in south Florida to a large family and has six sisters.

Following college and medical school in West Virginia, in search of adventure, she sought residency at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana. While there, she honed her surgical skills and earned the prestigious Laparoscopic Skills Award.

Following residency, she joined a hospital-affiliated practice, gaining diverse experience including caring for patients who had an array of medical issues and limited access to health care. Dr. Lee is also very active with the American College of OB/GYN, advocating for health access for all women and patient education.

In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling with her fiancé, spending time with her sisters and their children, and cooking. Most importantly, she strives to continuing her education to assure that she is current with the latest innovations. Dr. Lee empowers and supports her patients.
